Pratt Street
Pratt Street will be transformed into an open-air, outdoor holiday market! Winter Village will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, from November 26th to December 18th. Expect local artisans, live music, food, retail, bars, and more! This is a must on your holiday checklist. Head to their Website.
Bushnell Park
The holiday tradition is back! Winterfest brings ice skating, rentals, classes, and so much more, all for free at Bushnell Park. From November 25th to January 8th, experience true holiday joy with music playing, hitting the ice, and grabbing a tasty bite from vendors by the park. This is perfect for the whole family! Open daily from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm.
Goodwin Park
Spanning over two miles, the Holiday Light Fantasia is the perfect event to bring the kiddos to on a cold winter night! So throw some holiday jams on the speakers, pack some yummy snacks, and enjoy the festive show. Check out the excitement from November 12th to January 4th. The light shows run from 5:00 pm -10:00 pm, and it's advised to come down a little early, so you make sure you will not miss a beat!

Bushnell Park
Coming up on its 33rd anniversary, First Night Hartford is an exciting New Years' celebration shown through various art forms. This event will take place on December 31st from 2:00 pm-midnight. In addition, there are two fireworks displays at 6:00 pm and 12:00 am at Bushnell Park. When you arrive, jump right into the fun by participating in a scavenger hunt walk downtown, you will discover twelve intentions going into the new year. When you arrive at each “intention,” you will be surrounded by live art and activities to keep the fun going! Wadsworth Atheneum
Since 1973, the Wadsworth Atheneum has put on a festive fundraising event, Festival of Trees & Traditions. Artists, organizations, and community members come together and decorate holiday trees and wreaths displayed throughout the showrooms from December 1st through December 11th. Consider purchasing a tree or wreath to put up at home! Proceeds from this event go to the museum's exhibitions, educational programming, and overall operating expenses.
